My wife Emma and I had been searching for a villa in Mallorca for many years when we stumbled upon Cala
We focused our search within walking distance to the marina and after 12 months of
Villa Demelia needed totally remodelling and we really enjoyed designing and sourcing the finishings and taking our time planning every detail.
Being from a building background I brought my own team from the UK and used some local labour to make Villa Gallio into the home it is today, we still look to do some improvements every year with most recently extending the roof terrace, patios on the ground floor and installing some bifold doors to the bedrooms I hope you will love our home as much as we do.
Upper Terrace
The upper terrace at Villa Galio is the perfect place for entertaining for large parties with an abundance of space, soft seating, Ibiza style day bed and soft lighting it really is the perfect location to relax after a long day in the sun with a sunset cocktail or crisp white wine.
The view with the glass balcony looking out upon the infinity pool when lit up in the evening is beautiful.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 6 fabulous double bedrooms at Villa Galio and five bathrooms.
The upper suite looks out upon the roof terrace with a lovely view of the pool, with bi-fold doors and 7 windows the room is light and airy adjoining this extensive bedroom is its own wet room finished in chiselled stone tiles.
The master bedroom has a bifold door opening on the side terrace with its own en-suite bathroom.
The large main bathroom with shower and bath fully tiled in natural stone is next to the second bedroom with two double beds.
There are 3 further bedrooms, one with en-suite and further bathroom on the lower level.
Outside terrace and pool
Villa Galio boasts exquisite outdoor terraces finished in natural travertine stone giving the area a rich quality. There are plenty of seating areas with cushioned sun loungers, comfy cushioned chairs and two Ibiza style day beds.
A brick bbq is perfect for alfresco dining with the large teak table big enough to fit ten guests, ideal for large groups. Guest can relax in the beautiful infinity pool which is set in the secluded private garden with a stunning palm tree.
The side terrace with its pool table, air hockey and table tennis will keep the kids entertained for hours.
